Question by Violet Gertrude: Garden swing seat material wearing out?
My garden seat has now got huge patches on the material where people have sat. I’m looking for a cheap way to repair it as it is so comfortable. The material has 2 loops for the top and bottom planks to thread through. Any ideas?

This is a DIY. Take the old one apart carefully and use the pieces for your pattern. Go to a fabric store and buy new foam. They will cut it to size. While there, get the necessary yardage of outside fabric.
Using the old pieces, cut new ones (allow for seams) and sew together. Leave one end open to slide the foam in. Sew up the opening.
